The rush hour
Had an appointment for the first rounds of interview for Internship.
When i reached SIM, i was 10 minutes away from the designated time.
(1 min to reach the library, 1 min to print, then 3 mins to use the washroom and 5 other mins to run through my interview questions in my head)
I reached the school library to print my resume, and realised that the font i chose for my resume was terribly wrong. The school computers are meant to view and NOT to edit. Hence, it was a major shock to me. How come Arial Narrow is not in Microsoft Office 2007!?
Had to scramble to get Ah Hui's handy laptop to edit the document.
Fortunately, i was aware that he was in the school library. And that he has a laptop!
After a heart racing experience, i realised that there was a queue at the solo print station as a student printed like a JR Tolkien: trilogy of the Rings or the encyclopedia! (Maybe abit exaggerated, but its a whole stack!)
This amount of workload crashed the printer server and the printer guy had to come down to save the printer before it gets thrashed by an angry mob of students (actually 3 students excluding me) awaiting for their documents to be printed.
When the server computer rebooted, i awaited patiently...
And explained to the angry mob that i needed to print my resume.
Print the resume, run and prepare for interview. Ended up 10 minutes late, but the previous interviewee before me was still in session.
What a rush hour!
Ends up that the interview went well, there could be high chances of getting in! Looking forward to internship.

Out of breath
My cello instructor hints that my concentration sucks big time.
It used to be better when i was in NS.
So, could be a theory of...
More exercise = More concentration ?
Have been studying recently at the Bugis Library. My studying time in library always end up with me taking breaks more often than usual. And the quality time spent doesn't seem to be very qualitative at all.

On Saturday, the garden next to the study lounge was used for a private function.

What is it?

A wedding ceremony!
And the whole garden is littered with wedding pictures and balloons. The guests were all dolled up too.
Didn't catch a glimpse of the bride and groom. Could have tried to wish them 'Congratulations' to get an Ang Bao.
Studying is fun. Its the mugging that kills.

Muuuuuu......
Update: Went to cut my hair quite short. Really like my Army dazes kindna-short. Brings me fond memories of NS.

Performing blues...
The more i perform on stage, the more blue i get.
Perhaps its the standard that i seek. Perfection is always better than a last minute job done up. I need to seek a new level of performance that would be satisfying.
More appreciation of my art form needs to be done to improve my standard.

Gut feeling...
Really have this quezzy feeling in my gut right now, and its been there since morning.
Woke up 5.30am in the morning, and tried to fall back asleep again because it was simply too early in the morning.
And i ended up waking up at 9am, feeling more tired.
My body is a drag. Want to throw it in the bin and get a new one. Its simply slowing me down.
Need to improvise with it, since i am stuck with the existing one.
My studying/mugging process is not taking off. Last year, around this time, i would have completed all the memory work and started on attempting the past year questions.
WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?

V day today.
i want to use my cello to whack all the couples standing in front of me. But it would too costly to do that.
Would like to appeal to all that today is just another normal day. Don't spend things today just because it is Valentines day.
Based on simple economics, it is no public holiday to make the demand high in the first place, so why raise prices to meet the 'high' demand!?
And even with the over supply of roses, shouldn't the roses be cheaper instead of expensive today!?
It is just a disillusion of pricing!
Spend it on something more sensible. Like a home-cooked (delicious) meal, or 'something' hand-made to show the effort!
Going to spend my V-day at home, with my books. Spent the day earlier with some of my CC friends performing for her office people. Important people like the Minister of Health, Khaw Boon Wan, was present!

Hua Yue Hua Yue

Went to a Hua Yue performance today.
The event was FREE, but the concert hall was only a quarter filled. Could be due to the fact that it was a weekday evening.
The songs played were of very high standards. So it was very engaging to watch the concert as the performers gave their best for each piece. The ‘Shi Mian Mai Fu [十面埋伏]’ was really well-played and truly captivating.
The performers were students from the Diploma in Music course, and it was part of the curriculum to perform now and then. So i was there to support from friends that were in the course and it was a good chance to enjoy the music.

Okay Pocky Dokey Wokey
The original commercial that made me seek out the others in the series. These commercials were done in 2005, and follows a catchy tune. Listen for it! And the tagline is so catchy!
Crush.
Thriller abridged version. She reappears in the following 2 ads too.
Kissing!
Kissing @ home!
Meet the parents. The eyebrows! The eyebrows!
Cute kid.
Japanese truth or dare game, "King".
Stylo Milo. Has all the female leads from the above ads. Except for that 'meet the parents'.

HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR
Happy Lunar New Year.
Remembered years ago, i did a skit with me acting as Fortune God(think as Fairy Godfather in a Cinderalla story). And i ended up having this nickname 'Cai Shen' when i commissioned from OCS.
So many people in this picture that are like brothers/sister to me in my difficult times at OCS.
May the good times roll on.

Sarah Silverman and Matt singing "I'm fukin' Matt Damon"
I don't remember whether if i had posted Sarah Silverman's videos here. But this is so lame.
Have anyone seen "Team America"? Matt Damon was mentioned there too.
Haha... Good shit.

Its just another bananaworld
I always find bananas to be funny stuff. I mean, its a fruit. But every time people mention bananas.
It gets a very 'humorous' response.
Misjudged fruit, thats all.
What a sad fruit.
Isn't that the same with life. It is always the perceptions that lead life.
What a sad life to be always constrained to just one perception in life. Need to look through the kaleidescope and have a kick.
Check out my new banner. Happy lunar new year. And have a banana!
