After tons of action having fun at Mickey Mouse land, we finally get to experience some Hong Kong feel by going to one of the High schools and having a student exchange there.

The march of the students for the breakfast.
Can u imagine the girls and boys wearing skirts and shorts respectively on the cold streets of Hong Kong?

The pple of Hong Kong must be looking at us with dazzled eyes. What weird attire we wear.
After breakfast, where we had a 'boohoo' over a missing Pei Suan, we met our way to the high school.

The school corridor is small.

School hall. And where we will be performing that night.

Students listening attentively to the speech.

The Vice-Principal hosting the event. Nice chap with very good fashion sense. How come Singapore don't have such cool teachers!?

The Hong Kong high school Principal giving her welcome speech. Her speech strikes me as she mentioned that her school's motto and Outram's school motto is similar.
Labour conquers all! <- school motto
I sneekily paired myself with one of the students. And got myself into the classes.

Their maths lessons. This is like their 'C' Maths for Secondary 5. Their 'A'-levels is a continuity of their 'O'-levels.

Posing with one of the students. Emily. Check out their school attire. Very Chic.
I also started crashing all the classes during the whole exchange experience.

Home economics.

The teacher wore 'Tarepanda' apron. Ha!
I even crashed into the Hong Kong students' forbidden area. The teachers' room!

This cubicle was randomly chosen. So neat!
At the near end of the school tour, we arrived back to the classroom where our Hong Kong partner involved us in their discussion for the Christmas celebration.

Sneak shot at the teachers. They have a combined class system as the class is too small to function. So they have two teachers. The classes differ in their subjects taught.

Yuruu and Xiao Han display that Singaporeans can photo whore anywhere.

Ta-da. The students of Outram and Ko Lui Secondary school. Very obvious on the attire on who is from which school.
This picture is suppose to have the Outram students, Xiao Han, me and the Hong Kong partners. But the other Hong Kong students got excited and came in the picture.

A better picture of the whole group. Taken at the school hall. Except for the Hong Kong guy thats hiding behind Emily. He is shy.
The tour ended with the students and i preparing for the concert.

I snapped this teacher who was also the stage manager. Every teacher chipped in their part by helping out.

At one of the piece rehearsals.

Nice pic of the bass section with the primary school cello players. Their cellos are also small sized too!

At one of the main rehearsals. Everyone is getting ready.

Weihao and Banana doing silly pose. Suppose to look serious in this pic.

Mr. Pang, Weihao and Miss Wong giving their respective 'morale-boosting' speech before the concert. At that moment, each person gave very lengthy and naggy speeches, that i almost fell asleep.

More cam-whore at the back stage.

Benda, Mei ee and Banana.
Benda declares that 40 degrees tilt of her head is her ideal pose.

Miss Wong showing her paternal love.

More evidence of Miss Wong showing her compassionate love for the CO members.

Last min catch up!

Relax lah!

Cam-whore when bored/stressed.

Sylvester is going to be cool dude when he grows up.

On stage le!
And so we performed the few songs that the orchestra has been practicing over the past few months. Practices that included weekends and daily practices. Grilling, but compulsory to attain perfection. As the Chinese saying goes,
台下三年功,台上三分钟
3 years of practice, for that 3 minutes of fame. This saying goes true to the final bit for orchestra-practitioners.
Although the performance that day was not a 100%, but it faired well and the audience gave their approval by their rousing applause.

Tiffany and Banana. She has this 'puffer fish' look every time she take pictures.
And so, the concert ended with us leaving the school sadden as its the end of the day for us too.
Tired, satisfied, happy.

Benda playing his game on the HP.
